About Madison
Madison has been a nurse for over 6 years and worked in the hospital on an intensive care stepdown unit before joining the Avesta team. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at James Madison University, minored in chronic illness, and graduated with honors. While working in the hospital, she saw a great need for preventative medicine in healthcare and went back to JMU's Family Nurse Practitioner program to earn her master's degree in nursing. She also served as a clinical instructor for nursing students at The Catholic University of America. She has special interests in preventative care, holistic care, and encouraging healthy lifestyles for her patients.
